Having gotten a wifi USB device, I got Firefox, and then Classic Shell, and from there I was off: importing bookmarks, signing into places, adjusting settings, getting used to the place. I don't know how to feel about the size of the monitor just yet, or the scale of the keyboard, and a little bit of me is always going to miss being hunched over a laptop with the desk lap on, late at night, typing away. I always loved that feeling. The desk lap is still on now, but it's behind the monitor, so it's very close.

That said, the laptop is still in decent working order, so I've now got a very suitable travel computer for assorted vacations.

Next is to figure out where I want to put everything. How much I want to move over from the hard drives. If I go ahead and download Steam to see if I can manage some games better with a full-sized keyboard. Mostly, to keep settling in until I'm comfortable.
