May the First.
April was a let-down, given the property damage. Glass jars, ceramic flatware - clumsiness and gravity are a nasty combination. Not to mention the dog attacks. So far, May hasn't been that joyful, because in between waking up a little groggy and having that develop into abject nausea, even the wonderful bike ride with deep green leaves and pigeons happy to see me isn't getting far inside.
I'm stubborn in my determination to show up and try to have a good time. Not having much to do today and tomorrow helps - a few emails to read, a couple of online appointments, are a solid way to take it easy. With rain on the way, and a trip to look forward to, I have reason to be glad for this: it helps me not panic about the amount of packing I've got to do.

What happened with your property getting damaged?
Please share about your trip: is it for business or pleasure? I’ve got an in-law who’s just landed in London for a vacation.
