The unexpected high point of today was getting a compliment on how much ass I was hauling on a rented bike from some old guy on his personal bike. He said it was hard to get going on those but I was doing a good job, and I said, I do squats, and the biking works out the other muscles, and he liked that. I went one way and he went another, and it was nice to have that momentary, incidental encounter.

The expected high point was doing a full round of PT in the afternoon and then hitting my daily wordcount after a break for dinner.
