Kitchen disasters.
First, something falls from a cabinet and lands on a plate I'd set out at just the right angle and momentum to break the plate apart. It's six big pieces, not a thousand tiny ones, so it's theoretically repairable - and the adrenaline shock and sensation of being an incapable person still haven't worn off after nearly three hours.
Then, I try putting my cake pans away and find one of my springforms isn't working anymore. I brought a cake over to my parents' apartment for a family Seder and left it with them and they washed it and I got it back and somehow, the "lip" on the lower part got bent so it wasn't flush with the outer rim anymore, and the outer rim didn't latch up well anymore either. I don't know what's happened other than the end result of having a broken springform pan.
This has quickly become one of those "it is never a good day" nights.
