Time to invest in more masks.
Today I made small talk with a medical doctor about past jobs, saying I worked for a urologist for a while and how that was nothing but plumbing. He laughed, and asked me what I did now.
"Consultation work for private clients," I answered.
As of today, that's true. I've started a new gig that's a few hours a week for a personal client, someone a mutual contact put me in touch with. Researching travel questions, helping to figure out tech solutions, it's not a lot of work, but it pays above minimum wage and it'll keep me in lattes. And it's nice to have another entry on my CV after not doing much for a little while.
