Little things.
I woke up this morning with the feeling that I could use a couple more hours' sleep and an astonishing sense of pride. Because I'd slept. Not easily, since it took a decent amount of time to fall asleep, and not all the way through the night, because I was up for about an hour and a half in the small hours. And I got to sleep, by myself, without medicinal or chemical assistance. After the last few months' worth of struggle in this arena, it's a big thing for me to note that.
It's also a big thing to note just how much I hate the sheets I was using last week and how much they contributed to my inability to fall asleep. They were that uncomfortable. I changed them to an older, ripped set on Sunday and these ones work fine. They're going to work fine tonight. Not for that much longer, though - it's not a large rip or a big set of holes, but they're wearing thin. Mostly, this means this coming weekend I need to head to a store that sells sheets and other such things, and touch everything to make sure I want to pay money for it.
Ahead of this weekend, I'll need to check out what stores in my neighborhood sell such things, and which ones fall within my price range.
