Dividends.
I made the mistake of trying to treat a low afternoon mood by slamming a pot of tea. It didn't work, just making me feel low and fast at the same time. On the plus side, I managed a decent workout this evening, so I have that going for me.
I also hit up the post office to send the boots off to their rightful owner. At a friend's suggestion, I wrote them a little card to let them know what happened and the fun coincidence of where they're going. I also slipped in a dark chocolate bar - some weeks ago, my sister-in-law's company moved local offices, and in that move, she managed to snag several boxes of upscale chocolate bars and grab a fringe benefit of working in the luxury food business, and I managed to grab one to have easy gifts on hand for a while.
