Dinner tonight went well, with the maple sugar meringues I made coming through as an absolute knockout of a dessert. The apple liquor was also a hit. It's giving me good feelings for the upcoming weekend, even though it's already presenting itself as something that's going to absolutely torpedo my usual schedule.

Still. I should be able to manage with enough coffee and some podcasts to get my mind back to myself after the parties are done.

I can apparently get the maple sugar via the Evil Brazil River for a mere thirteen dollars for 8 ounces. I think I'm going to have to pass, though it sounds delicious.
