The fireworks last night let me know when midnight hit my time zone. I rolled over in bed and slept another 11 hours, which has left me feeling vaguely tired and out of it all day, no matter how much coffee I down. I guess it'll be an early bedtime, then, and see what good that does.

I also knew midnight had hit because I heard fireworks. And then on New Year's Day I drove back home from my Dad's. 8 hours. It was great to see him but today I am so worn out from the drive.
