I'm starting to finalize the end of my job in preparation for my next job. I don't yet know how long that's going to last, other than "not in perpetuity" and "probably for less than four years." Still, it'll be nice to have a little bit of breathing room of not worrying about the search process.

I guess this is what people mean by "networking." As ever, it's all in the framing.
