It's been about six weeks since my last contact with the beta reader whose services I won in the last fandomtrumpshate auction. I've tried emailing them with a gentle reminder once a week for the last four weeks, and received no replies - not even a perfunctory "cut this shit out" reply.

As such, watch this space for fic to start getting posted soon.

She doesn't do much in the way of blogging - a Tumblr which posts two or three times a day, a Twitter with very little activity - so I have no way of knowing if she's genuinely in a period of high-pressure time-sensitive real life work or not. I hope that's what it is, because such periods tend not to last all that many weeks, and I'd like to at least know that for certain.

Man, sorry to hear about this. There have been a lot of people ghosting this year after signing up for events. Probably unsurprising given how circumstances keep changing for so many. But I know I still have two vids I bid for a decade ago which never got filled although the individuals are still active in fandom.
