Tomorrow, the path should be clear enough for riding. I went through most of the park route today, and it surprised me some of the grass was still green where the snow had melted. Like there shouldn't be grass yet, or it should be brown. I'm ready for warm nights, but this is something I can't wrap my head around.

I thought about taking part of the route through some streets, and opted to stay in the park instead and see the last few bits of snow still stubbornly sticking around. Beautiful scaled gray clouds today, too.

It's probably some species of rye grass, which is good for fields because it improves the soil. Rye grass thrives in cold climates and will be green in the winter. There's a saying among gardeners that rye loves the snow.
