Fading light.

I always forget how bright it gets on snowy nights. It's not snowing a lot now - it did a bit, earlier today - but the sky's still cloudy and overcast. In a city like New York, that traps so much light, it might as well be morning.

It'll be some days before the streets are cleared and drained for riding, much less the bike paths. But today I tromped through a park, just walking on the snow for a while, and that was almost as good a circuit breaker activity. I'm going to have to remember that.

Yes, this is something I've always liked about nights with snow covered ground and cloud cover. The other night we saw some people out for a walk after 10 PM because it was bright enough outside that it was like dusk.
