Today marks the second time I've seen someone pissing outdoors in a New York City public park. Last time it was summertime, and a man sneaking behind a tree. This time it was winter and a woman out by the bike path.

The spirit of the city lives on.

See, I'd expect that in a mega-city (even in Tokyo once people got drunk enough) but I was very shocked to see someone doing this in the driveway right next to my workplace, in my tiny town of 800 people!

Could have something to do with the fact that restrooms are especially COVID-friendly, and a lot of businesses have been closing their public restrooms? I remember there was talk, earlier in the pandemic, about how this would impact the homeless.
