Closed environment.
I found the knife! I found the knife! It was in between pans I'd stacked to put away!
When I got the pans out earlier, and lifted one up and saw the knife there, I honestly felt a little bit like crying. Relief, deep relief, that I hadn't lost it, that I hadn't lost my bearings or my mind, that this was something I could account for and I hadn't gone mad.
I didn't, because I was in the middle of cooking something, which meant there wasn't the time or space for it. But I definitely felt like doing it when I stood there, holding it in my hand.
