Slowly developing a brand.
Last night I dreamed I was attending some sort of conference where I and about 12 other people were sitting around a table and discussing a recently posted fic. We went around the table, with everyone giving a short answer if they liked it or not.
The conversation got to me, and I asked, Is it that we dislike the story or the way the story's being told? Shouldn't we be looking for new ways to tell old stories? Isn't there something there, to figure that out?
I don't remember what the story was, or if I liked it or not. I just remember my subconscious not being at all subtle about it.
Also of note from the waking world, today someone asked me if I was a pumpkin spice person or an apple cider person.
I said I was a plain pumpkin person. A fan of the gourd.
(What the brand I'm developing is, I don't quite know yet, but it's shaping up to be a very distinctive one.)
