Roll down the window.
I picked up all the Hornblower movies for a dollar apiece today. I'd say that's a decent bargain for the promised entertainment value therein.
And when I'm done, I can donate them to the library for a used book sale, or to a convention as a raffle prize. Keep moving them forward.
I also wandered out onto the roof after hearing fireworks some miles away across the Hudson. With very little in the way of the show and my building, even with all the distance the sound had to cover, the noises came in clear enough for me to know there was something going on. The physics of it is remarkable, as was what I could see of the show, though neither were nearly as remarkable as the people already on the roof completely ignoring the fireworks show. It's like they didn't even notice it.
