Get to the other side.
It took until almost three o'clock for the clouds to part and blue skies to arrive. Only now is it feeling like the season. Big storms I can take, with gusto, as part of the yearly cycle of spring and summer weather - damp, soggy, overcast days where it's not warm or cool and there's no wind at all, those I can do without. I recognize the air feels cleaner and fresher right now than it would without this morning's context. I'd still rather do without days that don't belong to any season and drag me down as the air pressure drops.
I've made some calls, gathered some data, and I'll be talking a bit with my dad tonight. Possibly making another couple of emails about potential appointments in the next couple of weeks. It's possible nothing might come of those. Though even if that's the case, at least I'll have gone looking.
