Pumpkins were at the greenmarket today. There's no arguing with pumpkins.

It's autumn now. It might be as warm as high summer, but the evidence pumpkins provide is intractable. They're here. It's their season now.

Apparently our area would agree with the pumpkins -- the temperature this weekend has dropped into highs in the mid 60s.

We've gone back up to the 70s here, but there's enough chill in the mornings to let me know autumn is getting ready to settle in.
