Side-tracked.
Does anyone know of any tips, tricks, programs, or websites that can convert Word documents to HTML? I could manually go through each chapter and add italics where needed, but it's a lot of chapters and I'd like to automate the process if possible.
In the absence of a gym visit - no reasons today, just excuses - I did a reasonable circuit with a thirty-pound dumbbell. I also hustled around for about an hour cleaning my apartment, helped someone move a desk armoire, and walked about two miles. It's not a full-on workout with 30 minutes of cardio topped off with a visit to the steam room, but it's enough I don't feel like I spent the day doing nothing but sitting.

I do handcode italics as a matter of course when I type, so if you have those in your doc you may need to search them out and put [em] or [i] tags on them. Scene breaks and stuff can be Find & Replaced with [hr/]. I haven't experimented with how much the rich text editor will take straight from your Word doc when you copy it over, since I use a different word processor, but you should be able to do a quick test.
