I'm 5,000 words into something new. This is the point where I can begin sending out accountability drafts, which means it's the point I've gone too far to stop now. It's still very much in the "telling myself the story" phase, and there's no way past that except right on through. Unless, of course, you're Isaac Asimov.

And as I'm not Isaac Asimov, I've got to put in my work into those shitty first drafts until I can get a to that much-desired second draft. Still, just putting words together and figuring out what I want to say - to make a book I'd want to read if it was already written - is a feeling worth pursuing.

Also - is there a guide for hosting mood themes onto Dreamwidth anywhere? There's got to be a new one since the demise of Photobucket.
