Snowflakes and journaling will resume shortly.
Because I've been on a massive adding spree from the friending meme, and I don't know what people want to know, I'll borrow from
darjeeling and open up the floor:

Because we never really know each other as well as we think, in response to this post I'd like you to ask a question. Anything about which you are curious, anything you feel you ought to know about me. Silly, serious, personal, fannish. Ask away.

My own story involves my 22-year-old self in Colonial Williamsburg and a full 18th-century formal gown (overdress, underskirt, and stomacher, to be worn over a linen shift) in a beautiful dark green brocade, which I tried on in a store but did not purchase because I did not have $350 for the set and could not justify dipping into my savings for a dress that I might never actually wear anywhere. The saleswoman actually said that she wished she could lend me some of the money because I looked so good in the dress. I think about it every so often, though -- and I'm curious to know if other people have that memory of an elusive purchase that never was.
