Brief Monday update.
As of today I have a second unpaid position. It's an internship instead of a volunteer gig, so it'll have an end date of either the equivalent end of the semester or when the project is finished. It also begins on the 30th, so I have a little time to get off my butt and really start writing the next piece in my big story cycle. (I assume there's no interest in it here, hence my lack of crossposting to any personal journals. Is there interest? Curiosity? Have I been misinformed all this time?)
Additionally, among the side effects of giving up nearly all caffeine within two weeks of the Yom Kippur fast - I'm down to maybe two cups of tea a day at this point - is that I've begun losing any desire to stay up for anything less than Breaking Bad. Come Sunday, that first cup of coffee is going to be good, I tell you what.
