Passing time.
One of the few side benefits of getting sick - again - is that it lessens any other bad news I get. Like not getting the job for which I interviewed last week. I'd mind more if I could breathe properly, or if I hadn't gotten almost nine hours of sleep last night. It's a bit of a protective cocoon. Much as I'd have loved the work, and much as I deeply hoped for it - it's hard to be torn up or deeply disappointed. At least I have that going for me today.
What also helped is finally opening that package I ordered last week, since there's tea inside. And today I'm pushing green tea like it's going out of style.
Okay, all that, and I have another interview this upcoming Tuesday for another short-term part-time posting, and I should be reasonably mended by then. All this attention isn't going to last, and I can't really enjoy it right now - but hopefully, I can look back on it with some fondness.
