I've been called to jury duty tomorrow. I don't quite know what it's for, and I'll apparently be a grand juror as well - at least, according to the notice I received. How this differentiates me from a regular juror, I'm not yet sure, but I'll do some research and hopefully come prepared knowing that.
Research into what to do once I get there will be a little harder to manage. Which is why I'm turning to the social portion of the internet for help.
What should I wear? Casual office, formal office, office party? How many things for entertainment should I bring, and will they confiscate any electronics? Will I be allowed to bring my phone? Should I pack a lunch? Stuff like that, for navigating the place. Does anyone who's served as a juror in one capacity or another have something pertinent to share? Trust me, I'd appreciate anything.
