Health update, with a work interlude.

In health developments, the antibiotics seem to be working as there was much less discharge this morning, and sometime last night I felt something wet in my eye that turned out to be a subconjunctival hemorrhage. It's all the way at the edge of my right eye, so I can't even really see it unless I hold the lid open and turn my head and look out of the corner of my eyes - it doesn't even feel all that strange anymore. I very nearly panicked until I realized I was too tired.

Then I was two hours late for work this morning. I got up at seven, turned off my alarm, and went back to bed. I got up when I should've been at work, e-mailed my supervisor, and showed up two hours after that, feeling much less nauseated and more human. Because of the notice, and because she's coming back from a long weekend herself, she didn't mind. There's time to get things done tomorrow, anyway.

Now, having worn myself into a state of submission with heavy squats at the gym, I'm going to make some tea and knock off some cover letters.
