Top of the billing.
The job interview I was going to have tomorrow got rescheduled for next week. Among other things, this means both more time to research on the place and practice interview questions in the mirror, and staying up late tonight to work on fic.
It's currently 3500 words shy of the longest thing I've written, give or take a couple dozen, and I'm at least 7000 words shy of being done. I'll be a little closer to that by the time I go to bed tonight, but I really won't know how long it'll be until it's done. The first draft, at least. It's a little frustrating because I'm enjoying the writing and fantasizing a lot, and I also want to finish it up so I can share it and get on to the other stories in this little 'verse. So I'd better get back to it. And find a fandom icon, dammit.
And because this looks fun, I'll give it a shot.
