Making a lake.

First of all, I want an icon of this little chamelon so badly it's amazing. I don't even know what I'd use the icon for - maybe comments expressing righteous anger and fury, given its expression - except to know I'd have it. I mean, it's a cute little chameleon that wants to punch people! It's pretty much the perfect animal sidekick, and a good quality trailer is here, which also showcases that the lizard sounds just like a squeaky toy.

Second, when I took a bite out of a Russian tea cake that I'd made my first though was that it melted just like butter. Then I realized it's pretty much all butter, so of course it would. Those things are fantastic, and maybe a pinch of cloves to spice them up wouldn't hurt next time, but man, are they potent. Next time might not be for a couple of years at the very least.

Third, when I got to my internship today my supervisor was already in the room talking to an art book dealer. He was handsome, smart, funny, also had a copy of Understanding Comics on his bookshelf, dark thick curly hair...and he left for Ohio around eleven-fifteen, and will be back in Santa Cruz sometime next week. If he hadn't, forget the work hours I'd have lost, I'd have taken him out for lunch and coffee at the very least. A man who travels with books-as-art-objects in a golf club case and laughs over jokes about postmodernism...maybe I should go ahead and e-mail him.

You should go ahead and e-mail him, so that he'll be looking for you when next your paths cross. If nothing else, it sounds like he has the world's most fascinating job. :)

But hopefully someone can help you out....
