Tuesday night callings.
Is anyone out there tonight? It's been one of the worst days I've had in a long while and I could use some reassurance I'm not yelling into a void. I'd rather not get into what got me here, since it was a lot of small things leading me to take advantage of an opportunity I should've ignored and I feel a lot better about having done it now that time's passed, but some back-and-forth interaction would still be nice. And I don't know who to call.
Still, doing my laundry on Towel Day fits in the spirit of the occasion and gives me a bit of a smile: it wouldn't do to go hitchhiking with a dirty one.

Hi! We're watching the very last episode of 24 (although we may not finish it before bedtime, who knows?) and I'm researching iPod speakers. :)

I hope your evening will be much better than your day. Perhaps I can send your little package in the morning ...

I'm taking a break from putting laundry away to relax to Simon and Garfunkel - they're tailor-made for this sort of hot, sticky night.

That reminds me, last night I had the idea of some planet somewhere using crate training on 'garies - and it could easily have been one of the more benign clans from Brielle.

Also, if you want, I could type up a couple soup recipes - which is a food that freezes in single portions well, if your housemates haven't figured out stealing from freezers.

Soup sounds wonderful. I could freeze it flat in ziploc bags as suggested by Martha Stewart.
