It's lovely to me that everyone in my parents' building somehow all decided not to tromp all over the snow that falls on the roof. This isn't to say nobody goes out in it, more that once a few footsteps make a path, people stick to that. There's little deviation. I'm sure some of this is that there's fewer people on the building's roof than in nearby parks, and some must be people wanting the most efficient route from one door to another, or one door to a point where you can look and see said parks.

It's still lovely and charms me every time.
