Finally falling.
It took most of the day to happen, and it finally began snowing around 4 PM. Briefly, lightly, and it stopped long enough I worried that might be all - except around five, it began again, and it's been coming down steady ever since. There hasn't been this much snow in weeks and it's predicted to keep on falling for another eight hours or so.
It's quite a bit colder than it was this afternoon or most of yesterday, and it's the snow that's making it seem warmer. Or at least easier to handle the cold temperatures. Some weeks ago, it was persistently windy, and that was hard to bear through. Snow makes it something to enjoy.
