Throw the whole bottle down.
As of tonight, there's a total of 42,508 items tagged as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" on the Archive of Our Own. This includes crossovers, mulit-source fanvids, drabble and ficlet collections, and fanart - so while it's not all fics, and it's not all the Buffy fic out there, based on what I know AO3 to be used for, I can operate under the assumption that the items are mostly fics.
Going by individual tag searches, "fix it" gets 4 hits, "Fix-It" gets 657, "time travel fix-it" gets 60, "fix-it of sorts" gets 88, "post-canon fix-it" gets 17, and "episode fix-it" gets 40, for a total of 866 results across each search. Searching for anything with "fix it" in it results in 770 different items, with or without the hyphen.
In searching and excluding all the above tags, because searching by each tag results in some fics with multiple tags, the total removed is 667. Searching to also remove the specific term "fix it" takes it up to 772. This isn't hitting anything that's been uploaded without tags and limited metadata - backdated from mailing lists, imported by Open Doors - and I can operate under the assumption it's still pretty comprehensive.
Percentage-wise, it's never a huge amount. Nickel-wise, there's quite a few fans out there who'd do well to spend that money on a bus ticket to another fandom, because I've spoken to a fair number of them and I know they're truly not having a good time.
