Weeks ago, I made plans to meet a friend for a movie. It's on the ninth, not the second, which I found out when I got to the theater. I bought the ticket weeks ago. I knew what day it was. And I didn't know what day it was. Something got crossed in my head. Nothing's hurt but my self-image. I'll get over it. But man, was it a moment.

I keep telling myself it's better it be the ninth and confuse it with the second than it be the second and confuse it with the ninth. The can of wine certainly helps with me accepting that.
