Tonight I peeled and ate a watermelon. The whole thing. I sat on the edge of the bathtub to make sure I wouldn't drip anywhere I couldn't clean up, and just went to town. It was a small melon, which helped. I feel a little high on the experience. Just slicing the rind off and chowing down on the fruit itself.

I don't think I'll be able to do it again until next summer at the very earliest because even a small melon is a lot of melon. I know I'm delighted to finally have done this. I highly recommend it at least once.
