Wednesday night.
It hit me today that for the duration of Passover, bourbon is right out. Not that I wanted any when I realized - I was in the middle of cooking dinner - but it felt weirdly good to accept the holiday's going on at a conscious level instead of just coasting along.
That said, now that dinner's long done, I can cheerfully pop a cider.
