Remarkable.

In a phone interview for a potential office assistant position, the woman I'm speaking to says she doesn't need to know all these fine details I'm giving her. She proceeds to read from my CV to me, remarks on my census job, and asks me what an enumerator is.

"Someone who works for the census going door to door asking for people to provide fine details," I tell her.

Amazingly, she kept talking to me for another ten minutes.

Personally, I'd thought giving her details about my present weekly obligations and working through them aloud with her demonstrated a number of good and useful qualities in an office assistant, but that's just me.
