Two-way situation.
The highlight of the day was unquestionably heading out for morning errands at exactly the same time a family in full Purim costumes was on their way out, too, because I could both have that moment of joyful recognition and also they gave me a caramel hamantashen. I'm usually one for poppyseed, but I'm not going to turn down a cookie like that.
Somewhat below that was making a bean soup which used up a bunch of things I had hanging around in the fridge and feeling a sense of accomplishment.
