It's almost insulting that after three nights of god-awful sleep, the thing that worked to get me to sleep in under an hour is using the standing tower fan as a white noise machine. I tried a bunch of pharmaceutical options in conjunction and combination, I made sure to exercise, and I was still awake hours later - I checked the timestamps of the text messages that I heard arrive in the early morning to be certain about that.

Not that getting new pillows at some point won't also be a big help, eventually.
