Keep it kind of quiet.
On account of home renovations being the absolute worst, it'll be another couple of days away from the gig. I'm reminding myself that as much as I dislike the situation, the clients have it worse. The only major renovations I've done, such as they are, was taking the underwire out from bras where it got loose and started poking me, giving the garments a bit more useful lifespan.
Also of note was seeing both the movie Stop Making Sense and the play Stereophonic yesterday. It was an amazing shot and chaser - the finished piece followed by the production process. Both of them very much "staged" productions. Both of them there for the music, with one in celebration and the other in conversation. I really hope there's a cast album released at some point. Even a three-song single would be wonderful. The actors might have been miming playing their instruments while up on stage, but there was no miming whatsoever of that singing. And boy, could they sing.
