My phone's damage looks like it's to its SIM card: it's not recognizing it has one, and I can't change the time and date. It's currently backing up to the cloud, something I hadn't yet done, but seems to be the right thing to do before taking it into the nearest Apple store for an appointment later today.

I'll say this much: this completely validates stubbornly clinging to single-use MP3 players all these years because even with damage to my phone, I can STILL listen to music.
