November the first.

It's strange finding out what I can and can't do. What does and doesn't hurt, depending on what I'm doing and how much of it I've done. Push-ups were fine, though squatting down or getting to one knee - even just to reach the bottom shelf of the fridge - still presents problems. Sleeping with a pillow between my legs helped a lot, and I'll be doing that again tonight.

I took a bike ride today, though it was short and on an electric bike, which cut down the difficulty considerably on several levels. I'll see about doing the usual amount on a normal one tomorrow, and find out where that gets me.

It's not been a good day, but at least my knee seems to be on the mend for now.

Hannah, did you land hard on your kneecap when you fell? From experience, I can tell you it's possible to actually crack the tibia doing that and you should not be trying to walk on it if it's so painful you can't bear weight on the leg. I do hope that's not the case because when I did that, it set me up for having arthritis under my kneecap, and that has been no fun whatsoever. (((hugs)))
