All that time is gone.

My one-sentence review of the first episode of Loki: "The timelessness of what the future used to be." I'm absolutely going to have to rewatch it just to look at what they decided to put on the screen. Marvel rarely goes for that kind of set design.

Also, in honor of the show's protagonist, I'm drinking wine in a rainbow can, which is shameless pandering that gets easier to live with the more I drink, which is decent product design as these things go.

I stewed some summer vegetables for dinner tonight, and in absence of broth, I used leftover caper brine - and the kick it gave was welcome. Absolutely delicious, and I'm almost sad it'll be a while before I have leftover caper brine again, because I don't know how to go through capers that fast.

The final moment of note today was a commissioned James Marsters reading of Passing Over Water by Noelle Kocot, with some extra commentary on both the poem itself and his delight in performing it. I definitely got my money's worth on this one.

I can absolutely picture Loki drinking wine from a rainbow can. :) Thanks for that mental image.

Golden seventies decor with a dash of sixties brown, as seen through the lens of nostalgia. I especially enjoyed the retro-looking projector that was more futuristic with its actual projection and the mish-mash animated info-film.

I am looking forward to seeing Loki -- I'm not super excited about it but I know Z is a Loki fan, so this should be fun!

And that poem, and James's reading of it, was absolutely delightful!

Interesting idea about the caper brine on vegetables!

Late getting to this, but I love JM's delight in the poem. It's great to see how his mind engages on this and he really enjoyed it. Such a lovely smile at the end too.
