Won myself his wicked life.
Day 4
In your own space, create a fannish wishlist. No limits on size or type of fanwork; just tell us what you’d like to see. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so. And if you grant a wish, do the same thing!
I've spent the last couple of days thinking about this. There's a lot of stuff I want, and most of it - fandom-specific icons, beta readers for a fic in progress - I can find myself without a wishlist, just patience and a little effort. And I'd rather wait until I'm done with the major editing phase before looking for a serious beta, anyway. I did come up with a couple of things that qualify as wishful thinking, so here they are.
1. Fic of a Jewish Wesley Wyndham-Pryce. I've talked about the concept before with a few people - relevant pieces here, here, here, here, here, here, and here - and it's an idea that deserves time and attention I don't have to give right now. But perhaps someone else does, and might even want to.
2. A guide to installing moodthemes on Dreamwidth now that Photobucket's gone.
3. Someone in person to hold my hand through my just-barely-there interest in makeup and nail polish. I've never worn makeup, and I mean never. I'm just curious enough to want to figure out if I'd like it or not, and I know I don't want to have to deal with that without someone present to help me figure out the words I need. Same with the nail polish stuff - I used to wear it by buying it at garage sales when someone was cleaning out their house, and that's fine for a college town where there are actual garages but not so much where I live anymore. So that'd be nice.
And maybe if they could come over and hold me accountable while I clean up my apartment, that'd be nice too.
